Red Abalone

No it is not red! ... They call it Red because of the outside color.

The outer bark of the shell is redish brown.  The pearl inside is pale to strong pastel colors.  The Heart has strong green burled colors. Red Abalone has been getting harder to get all the time because there has been no commercial fishing for over twenty years.  Always check to see what is available first.
