Mr. Gariepy was a Banjo builder in the Orange County area of Southern California.

He and his son were active in the 50’s & 60’s with many designs that were unlike any others.

My understanding is that he was offered quite a respectable sum of money from Leo Fender for his banjo company, designs and all but decided not to sell.

Whatever the true story these are wonderful and different inlays that are very nice.
